MODEL 5004: hydra-goal, 8’ (2.5 m) extended portable basketball backstop with 42” x 72” glass backboard and breakaway goal

The hydra-goal is a high quality, traditional style backstop. It is used for high school, college and professional competition in main arenas and side courts.

Its compact design makes this portable ideal for tight locations.

Available in 8’ extension, it can be adjusted from 8’ to 10’ heights.

Fully padded to 7.5’ height, the HYDRA-GOAL comes equipped with an official size (42” x 72”) shatter proof glass backboard, our original PRO-MOLD backboard padding and a positive lock breakaway goal.

Boom pad and floor anchoring system are standard.

Shot clock supports are sold separately.

10 Year Limited Warranty on all parts. Lifetime Limited Warranty on the backboard included with the unit, 5-Year Limited Warranty on PRO-MOLDTM pads and 4-Year on breakaway goal.

Backboard: Model LXP4200 - official size 42” x 72” shatter proof rectangular glass backboard with a welded and reinforced steel frame. Half inch tempered glass with fired in target and border for maximum durability. LED perimeter light available at additional cost.

Goal: Model 2000+ Collegiate, positive lock breakaway goals come standard with this unit.

Padding: Durable Gared PRO-MOLDTM backboard edge padding in a wide variety of colors. Base and upright pads are available in a variety of colors. The boom pad is also standard. Custom logos for the front and side pads are available at additional cost.

Ballast: 1000 lbs of ballast welded to and concealed in the base of the unit.

Height Adjustable: Unique telescoping brace allows for preset heights of 8’, 9’ and 10’. Custom heights are available upon request.

Electric-hydraulic system: Simple to operate; it automatically controls folding and lifting of the unit with the turning of a key. Available for domestic and international power supply.

Floor anchoring system: Floor anchors included as standard. Specify floor type.

Finish: The unit is powder-coated white. Other colors are available at an additional charge.

Shot clock & Camera supports: Available at a nominal charge. Specify shot clock type.
